Group Procurement is growing and we’re looking for a Procurement Project Manager to drive important and global procurement projects in collaboration with different stakeholders across organization. As Procurement Project Manager you will drive cross functional and cross sites initiatives, optimization projects, business process improvement often combined with targets related to sustainability or supply chain optimization. You will work closely with category managers and other stakeholders, exposing you to a variety of interesting projects and cooperations with different divisions of the organization. Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Leading global initiatives with significant impact on the business and value creation, applying project management methodology and best practices 
  • Setting clear end-product goals for the projects, identifying key deliverables and risks, structuring activities to deliver tangible results in terms of cost, productivity improvements, new sourcing models and process improvements
  • Engaging with stakeholders, from frontline workers, and category managers to senior management to ensure ongoing alignment
  • Depending on the project, taking on tasks such as workshops, defining sourcing strategies, analyzing data & buying patterns, leading RFX process, engaging with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Driving resolution of complex issues, modelling the processes, providing direction for optimized way of working.

This position is based in our HQ in Brøndby, but your stakeholders are placed at different locations around Europe. Who you are 

A strategic thinker with effective communication and organizational skills

To thrive and excel in this position, you have experience in project management within procurement or supply chain management. You can demonstrate excellent change management, communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to engage with both team members and stakeholders effectively. You are organized, detail-oriented, and excel in time management. You have experience in procurement processes and ability to use data for fact based decision-making.

Additionally, your CV includes:

  • A university degree, for example in economics, business administration, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience as project manager within a strategic procurement function
  • Project Management methodology/tools/processes in a cross functional setup
  • Proficiency in English
