Your area of responsibility
In your role as a junior engineer, you will have technical responsibility for quotation and project documentation with a special focus on land cables (HVAC or HVDC Germany Corridor Projects) or sea cables. Other tasks include:
Examination of the tenders for cable connections for technical feasibility and decision on them
Carrying out technical calculations and creating the corresponding system design including accessories
Compilation of the necessary technical documents including overview technical drawings
Setting up the necessary cables, accessories, and external/internal services
Reviewing and commenting on the technical preparations of subcontractors
Creation and updating of technical descriptions and data sheets
Support team during technical negotiations and project management in project discussions and acceptance tests with the customer
Your profile

Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering
Experience in modeling and sizing cable systems
Initial professional experience in large-scale projects/high-voltage cable projects
High communication and negotiation skills as well as a high level of commitment, flexibility, and the ability to work in a team
Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
Very good IT knowledge in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Project, SAP as well as confident handling of common software such as COMSOL and MATLAB, programming knowledge
