Our business is expanding, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial and Tender Assistant to join our team. Combined with supporting the tender process, there will be a requirement to commercial support the project execution process through knowledge transfer from the tender process, customer invoicing and preparation of costs to support project change and variations.
 
Your primary tasks will be:


To assist with the tendering and commercial execution of ongoing and future projects for Lean, Standard and Premium Projects, as well as assist with full administrative support in the preparation and formatting of commercial documents. Using your previous experience, and collaborating with an international team, you will be required to conduct cost calculations, present commercial reporting details to senior management and assist with all aspects of the tender and commercial end to end process.  This role is UK based, and fully remote, with a requirement to be able to travel internationally, primarily to the EU on a frequent ad-hoc basis.

To take on this position, you have great attention to detail and comprehensive administrative skills together with the ability to problem solve and look for potential solutions.   You are extremely organised, self-motivated, professional, resourceful, informed and able to work towards specific deadlines.  You have the ability to effectively and professionally communicate.  In addition, your flexible approach to working arrangements is essential.
 
Your Experience Profile should also include:


•    Qualified to a ‘higher level’ in a commercial subject. Degree in Construction, Engineering or Quality Surveyance would be an advantage.
•    2-3 years of experience assisting the tendering process
•    Full clean driving license
•    Fluency in spoken and written English. Other languages, specifically German may be advantageous but not essential.
•    A high proficiency in all MS applications, and use in CPQ software is preferred but not essential
