Develop best practices for handling disputes
Your mission is to deliver strategic advice, from their early stages through to litigation or arbitration. You will be instrumental in ensuring financial control and managing provisions related to disputes, as well as overseeing the engagement of external counsel and alignment with internal stakeholders.


Other main tasks will be:

  • Develop and implement group-wide best practices for early-phase dispute resolution
  • Ensure robust legal positioning by overseeing the progression of disputes to litigation or arbitration
  • Oversee financial aspects of disputes, including cost control and provisions
  • Manage complex legal projects 
  • Select and develop relationships with external legal advisors
  • Conduct training sessions for managers and colleagues on dispute resolution processes
  • Work closely with your colleagues within our Corporate Affairs group on legal, governance, commercial and other important projects


The role will be based in one of sites in Denmark (Brondby), Sweden (Malmö or Karlskrona) or The Czech Republic (Kladno), with the option to work remotely part-time, you will collaborate with a team of global in-house lawyers and professionals. Reporting to the VP, Deputy General Counsel in Denmark, you will be part of a diverse, multinational department committed to supporting the green agenda. Travelling 10-20 days/yearly is expected.


Proven legal skills with a specialization within disputes and litigation 
To thrive in this role, you have good people management skills and collaborate effectively with others. Your problem-solving abilities are great, especially when dealing with complex matters. With your effective communication skills you can explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders. You are keen to use legal expertise to meet organizational targets.

Your background:

  • Masters of Law degree and have at least 7 years of experience in a law firm or a large international company, with a focus on dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration
  • Your expertise includes financial control related to legal disputes and managing external legal counsel
  • Fluency in English
