Project planning for EPC High Voltage Cable projects

As a Senior Scheduler you will bear and perform planning and scheduling responsibilities in line with organizational procedures and contract requirements. Propose continuous improvements in various planning methods and procedures to the functional lead. You will handle overall planning and scheduling responsibility as lead planner for our medium size EPC projects or as responsible planning manager leading a team of planners and schedulers for our large EPC projects. Provide guidance to project teams and project management concerning baselines and schedule development, float analysis, critical and sub critical paths, longest paths, schedule progress, schedule risk analysis, resource planning, EVM, etc.

You will also be responsible for delivering:
 •    Set up and maintain the Project plans and schedules.
•    Coordinate with the project teams (Testing, engineering, procurement, production, logistics and installation) to finalize project priorities and to develop and maintain detailed, integrated schedule for successful project execution.
•    Attend project team meetings, management review meetings, Client meetings and department meetings.
•    Understand the project execution plan and document changes to the baseline execution plan based on the change management procedure.
•    Finalize Schedules from Level 1 to Level 5 in Primavera with full and robust logic.
•    Implement and perform regular Project Schedule Risk Analysis.
•    Implement and develop internal standard reports. Ensure that the proper layout is used.
•    Ensure effective and regular maintenance of schedules and schedule performance analysis.
•    Ensure proper schedule quality as per internal and international standards.
•    Ensure effective communication of the project status by schedule performance analysis, critical and sub critical path impacts, longest path analysis etc. on a regular basis to all relevant stakeholders.
•    Ensure that the weekly and monthly progress and performance reports are prepared and properly distributed as per internal procedure and project requirements.
•    Develop, implement, and maintain procedures, means and tools to ensure the efficient organization and operation of the scheduling, progress control and reporting activities across the Project.
•    Mentor and train junior planners.

Experienced and supportive
You have proven ability to work under pressure without compromising on deliverables.
Working in a structured way and being supportive to your colleagues comes natural to you.
 
Additionally, your CV includes: 
•    Bachelor or Master’s in project management
•    Relevant professional experience can beat a formal degree.
•    PMI-SP, PMP, or PSP certification is preferred.
•    Primavera P6 expertise.
•    Schedule risk analysis expertise.
•    Oil & Gas experience is a plus.
•    Eligibility to work in the United States is a must
