Accounting Associate

NKT Shared Service Centre for Accounting and Financial Control in Kaunas is looking for a motivated, curious and goals oriented colleague to join our center as an Accounting Associate. What can you expect from the position?
You will be based in Kaunas office in an international environment following the highest ethical standards of business conduct and focusing on sustainability and greener world. The role requires attention to detail, accounting skills and ability to work independently and also as a part of the team. You will join a team of 8+ professionals and report directly to Accounts Payable Team Lead.  You will be processing and booking incoming invoices, handling stakeholders' and suppliers' queries, participating in period-close procedures for Accounts Payable. You can also expect to receive inquiries and deliver accurate reports for internal customers and outsourcing partners or authorities. Other tasks will be:

• participate in assigned projects to support business needs and priorities.
• work cross-functionally with teams across the organization.
• build positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
• assist other team members.
• execute all other position related tasks delegated by line manager.

What do we expect from the candidate?

• background in accounting/finance (can be student or graduate of formal accounting courses).
• attention to details.
• working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• English language skills (working knowledge).

Salary range for this position is from 1300 Eur to 1600 Eur Brutto.
