Senior Manager, S/4Hana Platform Manager

NKT is embarking a great transformation project that aims to merge three existing ECC platforms to ONE unified S/4Hana platform. 

We are stating from fresh and we are looking for a great team to drive the program in close collaboration with the business. This is a great opportunity to join a program with huge potential at the very beginning.

We have an ambition to deliver a new ERP base to support the growth of NKT during a multi-phased 4-year program. The program will introduce new technology, new platforms and new business templates.

For this journey we are looking for a Senior Manager, to lead a new team of architects, while engaging with rest of the new ERP transition management, implementation partners and stakeholders across the business.

As our new Senior Manager, S/4Hana Platform Manager, you will head the architecture team, which will be functional and technical responsible for the S/4Hana architecture in close collaboration with our implementation partners and business stakeholders. Yourself will be reporting to the Director responsible for the ONE ERP project in NKT. 

You will own and safeguard S/4Hana target architecture and the long term roadmap for NKT. Together with the your team, you will lead template design, functional transitions (APO & BW) and enable new capabilities (S&OP and IBP). 

We can promise you, that you will be exposed at all levels in our organization and will become the preferred partner for the business, when defining how ERP can support new business model and growth in NKT. 
 

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Own, draft and lead target architecture for ONE ERP on S/4 (Consolidation of 3 ECC platforms) 
• Own, draft and lead S/4Hana roadmap  
• You will engage with business stakeholders to clarify their business purpose and derive a clear ERP strategy form here. 
• You will advocate standardization, scalability and platform efficiency, keeping in mind the different nature of business within NKT
• You and the team will guide the engineering team/external partners to develop, configure and implement solutions as per design standards, defined the architect team 
• You and the team will monitor the work of the technical team and ensure standards are adhered to in accordance with SAP’s Solution Extensions
• You will orchestra the sequence of multiple projects and programs to ensure pace, quality and timely delivery.
• You and the team will run inspirational workshops guiding the many stakeholder to right solution for NKT.

You will join Group IT which has global responsibility, and our skilled employees represent multiple nationalities, working out of both HQ in Broendby, Denmark and our plant locations throughout Europe. This role will be placed at our HQ in Broendby, Greater Copenhagen Area, Denmark or at our office in Malmo, Sweden. 20-30 days of travel, primarily within Europe, is to be expected.
 
Key desired skill set

• Master’s Degree within a relevant field, but more importantly you bring a great track-record and a drive to make ERP relevant and accessible for our internal customers. 
• 5+ Years’ experience from a similar role in a complex enterprise set-up, preferable with a strong background in the FI/CO domain. 
• 5+ year experience working with large scale transformation programs, preferably with some experience working with S/4 Hana
• Experience drafting end executing ERP strategies and roadmaps successfully 
• Extensive experience translating business requirements into scalable ERP solutions 
• You bring knowledge on SAP Architecture and technology, and preferably you have previous experience with other relevant tools, such SAP SAC, SAP Business Objects or SAP S/4HANA Embedded analysis
