Join Our Team as a Junior Installation Proposal Manager
Are you interested to join a diverse team working on large infrastructure projects aimed at connecting a greener world? Then this could be the position for you! At NKT, we collaborate with international customers to develop, manufacture, and install efficient, environmentally friendly, and technologically advanced high-voltage cables for land and offshore applications worldwide.

Support the installation scope in our global tenders
As a Junior Installation Proposal Manager, you will be an integral part of our tender team, shaping the installation aspect of our offers. You will assist in assigned projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling proposals. You will assist in developing the best methods and create installation proposals that meet our customers’ needs, especially for international projects. Identify and address potential risks while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency. Work closely with colleagues across departments to generate effective solutions.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in crafting compelling proposals and ensuring a seamless handover to the project installation team
  • Developing clear, concise documentation for clients, describing scope, timelines, and budgets with precision
  • Supporting the presentation of innovative installation solutions to clients
  • Collaborating with internal teams (engineers, legal, procurement) and external partners (subcontractors, clients)
  • Identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with installation subcontractors

As part of an international team based in different locations, this role allows you to work from one of NKT’s offices in southern Sweden (Karlskrona or Malmö) and some remote working. It will require some traveling, approximately 10-20 days/year, mainly within Northern Europe.

Communicative and Business-Oriented Team Player
To be effective in your role, you have a communicative and focused personality. You thrive when collaborating with your team members and other internal departments to optimize the technical and commercial solution for our customers. Equally important is your business-oriented mindset and your ability to support negotiations with subcontractors and understand contractual information, in collaboration with your procurement colleagues.

Additionally, your CV includes:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, e.g. civil engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering and management or similar
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office package, including planning in MS Project
  • Previous experience in a commercial position within sales or procurement, or a similar position within the offshore industry or civil works is a plus but not a must
  • Fluency in spoken and written English

We believe that a diverse organization enables sustainable performance and that an inclusive and welcoming culture makes for a better place to work. NKT is committed to fostering a diverse organization and a culture where people from different backgrounds can thrive and are inspired to perform at their best. This role offers you possibilities to contribute to NKT’s purpose of connecting a greener world. You will have a manager who will give you the freedom to act and the support you need to excel in your role.
