Your area of responsibility

In your role as an Electrical Engineer, you will have technical responsibility for high voltage cable quotation and project with a special focus on sea cables. Other tasks include:

  • Creation and review of tender documents, technical feasibility check involving production and development departments and technical offer preparations
  • Carrying out the technical calculations and preparing the corresponding documentation
  • Cable system design and further optimization for large tenders and projects
  • Technical lead for projects and support of project management in customer interactions
  • Cooperation with cable and accessories design, development and production
  • Support for sales in context of qualifications and technical clarifications

Your profile

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in HVAC or HVDC cable design
  • Very good IT knowledge in Microsoft 365 as well as confident handling of software such as COMSOL and MATLAB or similar programming knowledge
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
  • High communication and negotiation skills as well as a high level of commitment, flexibility, and the ability to work in a team
