Define and drive the fibre optic product vision
As a Fibre Optic Product Owner at NKT, you will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy and portfolio within the Fibre Optic product area. You will act as the internal authority on the fibre optic product portfolio, ensuring tasks are clearly defined and ready for the development team or R&D to work on.

 Your responsibility will be to:
•    Build up a portfolio around the fibre optic scope and implement structures and processes to support this.
•    Work closely with the accessories team, vendors, fibre optic engineers, and other product owners. Maintain and develop relationships with third-party vendors.
•    Prioritize and manage the product backlog, participate in R&D activities and ensure the product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
•    In-depth knowledge of the assigned product segment, expertise in design rules, testing, quality assurance and strong analytical skills for project experiences and risk assessment.

This role combines the responsibilities of a Product Owner and a Project Manager. You will be involved in both strategic planning and roadmap development, as well as executing the roadmap. The work is conducted at our offices in either Karlskrona or Malmö, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows for partial remote work.

Your exceptional communication skills drive you to achieve goals through effective collaboration across diverse teams. You prioritize customer and stakeholder needs, using data to make informed decisions. Proactive in risk management, you deliver projects on time and within budget. Your sense of urgency drives efficiency and your commitment to continuous improvement enhances product value and performance.

You also have:
•    Over three years in roles such as Product Owner, Project Manager, or equivalent leadership positions.
•    Proven experience in managing product backlogs and leading sprint planning.
•    Strong understanding of the business value related to features and functions.
•    In-depth knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
•    Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
•    Excellent networking skills.
•    Sharp analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
•    Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Merit:
•    Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline such as Engineering.
•    Experience with Windchill.
